Permanently deletes all VibeKit data. Requires confirmation.

What gets deleted

  1. Vault container and volumes — All keys stored in Vault
  2. OS keyring secrets — MCP tokens, account keys (Keyring provider), GitHub PAT, dispenser token
  3. Config directory — ~/.config/vibekit/

What stays

Project files are not touched:

  • .mcp.json / opencode.json
  • .claude/skills/ / .opencode/skill/
  • AGENTS.md, CLAUDE.md, .cursorrules

Before removing

If you have accounts with funds:

  1. Transfer assets to a wallet you control
  2. Or use vibekit account rekey-to-self to take custody
  3. Then run vibekit remove
